MOSQUITO CONTROL WITH IN2CARE MOSQUITO TRAPS

Nothing can ruin your outdoor family fun more so than relentless swarms of mosquitoes. Bites from these troublesome insects can swell and itch quickly, causing irritation and discomfort within a matter of minutes. More than just a nuisance, certain species of mosquitoes are known for carrying diseases that can be dangerous for your family and pets. The Aedes mosquito, for example, is an aggressive daytime biter, and it is a known transmitter of the Zika virus and Dengue fever. There is no vaccine or medical cure for either of these conditions, and both have claimed lives.

Palm Coast Pest Control is your go-to mosquito control company, and we offer mosquito treatments all along the east and west coasts of our beautiful state. One of these treatments is the innovative In2Care® mosquito trap. Contact us today to learn more and request your free estimate today!

MOSQUITO CONTROL AND TRAPPING

WHAT IS THE IN2CARE MOSQUITO TRAP?

In2care mosquito traps are a type of mosquito control system that uses a combination of insecticides and biological control methods to target mosquitoes. The trap is designed to attract and kill female mosquitoes, which are the ones that bite humans and transmit diseases.

The In2care mosquito trap works by using a combination of an attractant lure and a slow-release insecticide that targets both adult mosquitoes and their larvae. The trap contains a special type of fungus that infects and kills the mosquito larvae, as well as an insecticide that kills adult mosquitoes on contact.

The attractant lure used in the trap is designed to mimic the smell of human skin, which attracts female mosquitoes. Once the mosquitoes enter the trap, they come into contact with the insecticide and the fungus, which infects them with a lethal dose of spores.

One of the advantages of In2care mosquito traps is that they are environmentally friendly, as the insecticide used is a low-dose formulation that is safe for humans and pets. Additionally, the trap is designed to only target mosquitoes, and not other insects or animals that may be beneficial to the ecosystem.

As a homeowner, you deserve mosquito control that is as safe as it is effective. This revolutionary mosquito trap provides your family with a green solution for mosquito protection 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The In2Care® trap provides unique and precise spot treatment for mosquitoes, reducing your exposure to chemical insecticides. It is a small water container with specially designed interior components that give off an odor that targets and attracts mosquitoes (including the insecticide-resistant Aedes species) that are ready to lay their eggs.

Thanks to its durable polyethylene plastic construction, this trap is guaranteed to last several years, even in tropical climates like Florida. It is virtually unnoticeable when placed in a shady spot on the ground in your yard. Even better, one trap covers more than 4,000 square feet, and it doesn’t harm humans, pets, or beneficial insects, like bees and butterflies. Mosquitoes control birdbaths, puddles, gutters, and other hard-to-treat breeding spots.

Overall, In2care mosquito traps can be an effective tool for mosquito control, especially in areas where mosquito-borne diseases are a concern. However, it is important to note that the traps should be used in conjunction with other mosquito control measures, such as removing standing water and using mosquito repellents, for maximum effectiveness.

HOW DOES THE IN2CARE TRAP WORK?

In a few simple steps, this effective mosquito treatment provides a one-two punch to reduce the number of biters and their larvae in your outdoor spaces. Mosquitoes are lured to the trap with an odor attractant. They fly into the trap and search for a place to rest and lay their eggs near the surface of the water. Once the mosquito lands in the trap, it is contaminated with two bioactive agents: an insect-killing fungus and an insect larvicide.

After laying her eggs in the trap, the mosquito will leave the trap in search of other places to lay her eggs. When she reaches her next breeding spot and makes contact with the water, she then contaminates the breeding site with the insect larvicide, killing her own offspring as well as that of other mosquitoes who have laid eggs in the same spot. This process repeats at every breeding spot where she lays her eggs. Over the next couple of days, the mosquito will feel the effects of the insect-killing fungus. Biters will become less active and be less inclined to bite humans. The fungus also inhibits the development of the Dengue virus in the mosquito’s gut. After a few days, the mosquito will die from the fungal infection.
